Jim Thorpes Take Lead

The Jim Thorpes summoned the spirit of their founder, Jim Thorpe, to score 135.8 points Thursday.  It was by far the best day of any team this Olympics.  They are now in first place after getting 25 point gold medals in men's beach volleyball (Germany) and women's water polo (USA), to go with the Games' first 50-point medal, USA women's soccer.
Da Nang Dynamos, who had led the league for over a week straight, got only two silver medals and fall to second.  Postmodern Pentathlon got four medals, none of them gold, and falls to third.
