Final Standings

Here are the final Fantasy Summer Olympic standings - the first to feature Postmodern Pentathlon on top.  They're followed by Da Nang Dynamos, The Jim Thorpes, and Paragons.  Lithuania's Laura Asadauskaitė-Zadneprovskienė won the Modern Pentathlon gold medal, lifting Paragons into the first division.  Laura's gold medal is clearly a great flirt with Paragons manager Dave Spence, whose last name can't possibly be looking bad from her perspective.
Paragons' success dropped defending champion Los Cornballers to the second division, just ahead of sixth place Chariots of Fire.  Seventh place Golden Girls proved to be a one-weekend wonder, as they led the first two days of competition before a free fall that was never really slowed.  They barely held off the last place Zurich Zebras, who won two 25-point medals Sunday.  Don't feel sorry for the Zebras - not only did they intentionally lose badminton matches, but their manager is the type of person who if this situation ever came up, would probably cock block another league manager from a girl who is wearing a wedding dress at a dive bar.
