Dynamos Reassert Dominance

The embattled Da Nang Dynamos added to their lead Monday, ranking second in the league with 30.5 points on a slow day for medals.  Swimming had given the Dynamos 16 of their 22 medals through nine days of competition, but with no action in the pool on Monday they added to their lead with golds in athletics, gymnastics, wrestling, and sailing.  When Australian Tom Slingsby won sailing gold in the Men's Laser, it was a great moment in sport that was already forgotten by the time this post went up.
Chariots of Fire had the best day in the league, scoring 32 points with seven medals, but it was good enough only to move into sixth.
